Informed sources say discussions are underway for Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z to perform together at halftime during Super Bowl LII (52) at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on 2/4. It would be a huge look for RCA superstar Timberlake’s forthcoming album, due in early 2018.
Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z appeared together on the former’s smash “Suit and Tie” and the latter’s huge “Holy Grail”, and joined forces on the top-grossing Legends of the Summer Tour in 2013.
Timberlake’s 20/20 Experience Part 1 debuted at #1 in March 2013 with 980k; it was the year’s biggest debut and release; it’s racked up nearly 3.6m SPS. Part 2 hit later that year, bowing at #1 with 348k. The Complete Experience set, meanwhile, has amassed about 2.7m SPS. The accompanying tour earned more than $230m in ticket sales.
