Is a new Justin Timberlake song coming January 5?
A few days ago, TMZ reported that Justin Timberlake filed paperwork to trademark the phrase “Man of the Woods”, and the phrase “Fresh Leaves”. The website speculated that these phrases could possibly be the name of a new Justin album, a new song, or both. Now, another clue points to the possibility of some new Justin Timberlake music.
A woman named Marie-Jo Morin, who’s apparently the music director of a radio station in Montreal, Canada, tweeted, “New single from @jtimberlake drops Jan. 5th just sayin”. A few hours after people started reporting this, Morin’s Twitter account became protected so nobody could see her tweets, and the tweet in question has disappeared.
At press time, reps for Justin had not replied to ABC Radio’s request for a comment on Morin’s original tweet.
Considering that Justin Timberlake is headlining the Super Bowl in February, it’s almost expected that he would release new music ahead of the event. Stay tuned.
