Justin Timberlake Score New Top 10 Hits With His Latest Single

For the sixth week in a row, Ed Sheeran’s sappy-sweet single “Perfect” is atop the Hot 100, though this time around, he’s sitting on the throne by himself, even though he’s been leading the way with Beyoncé for the past month or so. According to Billboard, the female powerhouse has been removed based on which version of “Perfect” is performing best, and while she’s no longer in charge, the track still counts towards her career total 10 No. 1 smashes.

The second new entrant inside the uppermost area on the Hot 100 comes from Justin Timberlake, who has just launched a new era of his career. Lead Man of the Woods single “Filthy” enters the songs chart at No. 9, granting the powerful musician another big hit. “Filthy” is Timberlake’s twenty-fourth song to reach the tier, with 18 of those rising during his solo career, while the other half-dozen performed well when he was a member of *NSYNC. Timberlake now has three times as many solo top 10s as *NSYNC did, so it’s fair to say he made the right decision to break up the band.
