Justin Timberlake just took over the world’s biggest stage at Super Bowl 52, but the 37-year-old pop star isn’t slowing down. He just dropped a brand new Air Jordan made alongside legendary Nike designer Tinker Hatfield, and he’s officially entered the merch game with some Man of the Woods hoodies and T-shirts. But even that’s not enough: starting Friday, February 9, Mr. Sexyback himself will open a pop-up in New York City that’s a veritable smorgasbord of menswear collaborations.
Behind Justin Timberlake’s new merchandise push is Bravado, the Universal Music Group-owned company that was behind Justin Bieber’s Purpose Tour merch as well as Kanye West’s game-changing Life of Pablo gear. But for Justin Timberlake, the ante has been upped. At the top of the hype ladder is none other than New York’s own Heron Preston, who is collaborating with Timberlake a year after teaming up with Dave Chappelle on some one-off tees for the comedian’s Radio City Music Hall shows. We don’t know prices yet, but we can show you a few of the items below, like a blanket from Pendleton, a truck jacket from Levi’s, a different truck jacket from Levi’s x Pendleton (that uses a fabric made in Jessica Biel’s birth year), three different sunglasses by Warby Parker, a custom Yeti cooler, and a Moleskin notebook. The items we have yet to see include a collaboration with Maestro’s Classic, a cowboy boot with purveyor Lucchese, and the aforementioned Heron Preston merch. And when all of these goodies are put under one roof, it’s clear that the pop-up is in keeping with the “country meets streetwear” vibe the album evokes.
All 16 tracks on Man of the Woods are getting their own collaborative item for the shop. The full list is as follows:
