Justin Timberlake Hits the Studio With Lizzo — Is a Collab on the Way?

Justin Timberlake is back in the studio, and he’s hanging out with none other than Lizzo.

The “Say Something” singer took to Instagram on Thursday to share a video of him and the “Truth Hurts” artist as they spent time hanging out in a studio and having a great day.

“Lizzo flames, brb”, Timberlake captioned the fun clip.

Fans have been speculating that the 38-year-old entertainer has been working on new music for his follow-up to his critically divisive 2018 album, Man of the Woods — since his high-grossing Man of the Woods Tourcame to an end in April — and this latest post may be a hint that he might be teaming up with Lizzo for a collab in the near future.

Timberlake previously teased new music earlier this year in a post that suggested he’s recording some new tracks with frequent collaborator and producer Timbaland.

“We made music”, Lizzo tells RADIO.COM. “We made some songs, and I just hope that the world gets to hear them cause they’re really fun”.

“Oh my god. Y’all are obsessed with Justin Timberlake”, she laughs. “But who isn’t. He’s funny. He’s very funny”.

“I had fun doing it”, Lizzo explained. “Collaborations, for me, is about the energy and the relationship. I mean, it is Justin Timberlake, so I am not trying to be like, ‘Ahh, I didn’t have a good vibe with Justin Timberlake'”.

“We had a lot of fun, we laughed a lot, he’s got great energy”, she added. “And so do I, and so, hmm, whatever we do will be made from love and made from fun. He gets lit in the studio. He goes crazy. He was like, “Turn up!’ It’s his world, we’re all kind of living in it”.
