These live performance scenes were shot at the Hollywood Bowl. In order to get that dramatic sheen on the floor for this shoot, they refinished the floor in high gloss black.
The recording studio scene was shot in the original Capitol Studios in the Capitol Records Building in Hollywood.
This dance scene was shot at a studio in Hollywood. They had to replace the whole floor with mirrors to get this lighting affect.
