Justin Timberlake took the stage at A Concert for Charlottesville hosted by The Dave Matthews Band Sunday alongside Pharrell Williams and Ariana Grande.
The free concert was organized to help heal the city following the protests that rocked the area in August. Donations that were accepted went to help victims from the protests as well as their families and first responders.
Timberlake began his set by covering Sam Cooke’s 1964 civil rights ballad “A Change is Gonna Come”, Entertainment Tonight reported.
The pop star shared on Instagram footage of himself thanking the fans in attendance onstage with the caption, “Thank you #Charlottesville! There was so much love in the air tonight!”
